Yuri Saotome (Yuki Amami) is a successful business woman who runs a sports center and a beauty salon. She is also determined to one day achieve a gold medal vicariously through her children. Yuri married a gold medalist to gain the proper genes and has four children from her marriage. After her divorce, she is still determined to attain a gold medal for her family. Her eldest son Kou (Tori Matsuzaka) is a swimmer, her second son Ren (Masato Yano) is an athlete, and her first daughter Akira (Emi Takei) does the high jump.
