Synopsis:

Miki Suzumiya (Mao Inoue) begins work as a tax collector at the Tokyo National Tax Service. Miki Suzumiya wanted to become a public officer because she thinks it will be a stable job. She soon finds herself very busy collecting from delinquent taxpayers.
Miki Suzumiya goes to the home of Minagawa (Masanori Ikeda), because he hasn't payed taxes for the past 6 moths. Miki faces strong resistance from Minagawa and his wife Mariko (Hitomi Sato). When Miki can no longer stay and is about to leave,her colleague Yuko Nabeshima (Sawa Suzuki) and a strange man appear. The strange man is Masachika Kagami (Yukiya Kitamura), a special tax collector designated by the National Tax Service and called a Totkan. He mercilessly enforces execution of the attachment. Miki's boss Chojuro Kaneko (Tetsuhiro Ikeda) later tells Miki to follow Masachika and she does so reluctantly.

Synopsis:

Working with him is animal nurse Tajima Asuka. The drama focuses on the friendship between those 3 and tries to teach viewers about human-pet relationships.

My Darling Is A Foreigner (Darling wa Gaikokujin)

Synopsis:

"My Darling is a Foreigner" tells the quirky story of a Japanese woman and an American man as they enter into a relationship and eventually marry. Saori (Mao Inoue) is a manga artist. She meets language geek Tony (Jonathan Sherr), who has arrived in Japan after falling in love with the language. As the couple become closer, Saori is inundated with strange questions about the language from Tony. Are these weird questions a trait of his foreign background? Or is it because of his linguist preoccupation? More importantly, can their relationship survive?

Based on the popular manga series "Darling was Gaikokujin." written by Saori Oguri, & first published in 2002. The manga has sold over 3 million copies. "Darling was Gaikokujin" is based on Saori Oguri's own life with her husband Tony Laszio.

Synopsis:

Tsukasa Dōmyōji (Jun Matsumoto) and Tsukushi Makino (Mao Inoue) are driving through Nevada. Weeks prior, Tsukasa announced to the world that he was engaged to Tsukushi. He released an embarrassing picture of her eating noodles, angering her. As a result of the announcement, Tsukushi's family become targets of media attention.
Soon after, Tsukushi’s parents formally met with Kaede Dōmyōji (Mariko Kaga), Tsukasa’s mother, to discuss the wedding. Kaede presented Tsukushi with a tiara which grants endless love to the owner and her partner. Accepting, they proceed to Hotel Volver. Tsukushi's family leave the couple alone together; they are about to kiss when a man crashes through the window and seizes the tiara. Tsukasa pursues the thief with Tsukushi far behind. However the thief manages to escape. Tsukushi and Tsukasa returned to their room, where they notice that the window is fixed. The staff claim they heard no disturbance, even though Tsukasa and the thief had created chaos throughout the hotel. After some investigation, Tsukasa's butler Nishida (David Itō) informs him that the thief may be in Las Vegas. Tsukasa and Tsukushi secretly plan to go there.

Synopsis:

This second season of Hana Yori Dango picks up right after Domyoji leaves for New York. After confessing to Domyoji, Makino has not spoken to him for a year. Rui and the other members of F4 try and help Makino meet Domyoji again by going to New York for the christmas holidays. Though F4 and Makino meet Domyoji again, he has become a completely different person, and so they leave for Japan.

Some time later, Domyoji's mother annouces that they will be returning to Japan. There, they hold a giant super-rich and classy birthday party for Domyoji and announce something very important. Domyoji, like in the first season, is engaged to a rich girl and heir. The only difference is that they are to be wed soon. What will Makino do?

On the side, Rui begins to fall in love with Makino... will this become a love... square?

Synopsis:

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.

Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a "tough weed". She declares war right back on the F4. The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.

Synopsis:

She finds Kazuki (Ito Hideaki) leading a good-for-nothing life, but he shows his seriousness when he resolves to find a way for Mio to experience her first kiss. Check It Out, Yo!

Synopsis:

Toru, Yui, Akira, and Tetsuo are senior high school students in Okinawa, Japan's southernmost prefecture. A sprawling blue sky and crystal sea are common sights in this prefecture known for its breathtaking scenery. The four have nothing to be passionate about, just spending days complaining about their boring school life. One day at an aquarium, Toru meets a hot lady, Nagisa, and gets infatuated on the spot.

The guys go out to see a concert of Workaholic, an up-and-coming hip-hop band that's taking the prefecture by storm. At the concert, one of the band members, Ryota, shows a great MC, livening up and hyping the crowd with flowing rhymes and flashy performance. Toru sees Nagisa again there, but it's not a chance encounter Toru hoped for. He has no idea at this point that she is Ryota's girlfriend. Toru and his buddies wake up to the thrill of rap music, and start their own band. They name the band "098," the area phone code for Okinawa Prefecture. Things take an unexpected turn, and the band gets a chance to perform an opening act in Workaholic's concert. What's more for Toru, he is picked to do the MC.

But can they really pull it off? They are no good at instruments, let alone performing rap music. They secretly borrow instruments from the school. They even try Japan's traditional instrument shamisen to hone their music skills. The boys find their savior in the husband of Yui's elder sister. This mysterious man, called Andy, is a native English speaker. He teaches the guys how to ride on the grooving beat of rap music. Even though they try their best in preparing for the show, their performance on the day ends up a complete flop.

Some time later, Toru hears about Nagisa and Ryota going out together. But Nagisa snaps, "we are over now... I will return to Tokyo." Yui is holding tender feelings toward Toru. Knowing he has a crush on Nagisa, Yui's smile dims with the tinge of uneasiness. Tetsuo says he is thinking about going to a university in Tokyo.

The friendship that has been binding them tight together shows signs of fraying. That's when the boys decided to hit the stage just one more time, for Nagisa and... for themselves.

Can they put up a big and cool stage this time around? How does the romance between Toru and Yui turn out in the end?

Boku no Hatsukoi Kimi ni Sasagu (I Give My First Love to You)

Synopsis:

Takuma, a boy who is told he will die before he’s 20, and Mayu, a girl who is in love with him…

The story begins when they are little kids. Mayu, whose father is a doctor, meets Takuma, who is hospitalized in her father’s workplace. They develop feelings for each other, but Mayu learns of Takuma’s grave illness and that he will die before he turns 20. The distraught children make one promise for an uncertain future.

Time passes, and the girl becomes a young woman, and the boy, a young man. Mayu continues to support and love Takuma. On the other hand, Takuma, who knows his days are numbered, pushes away his feelings for Mayu and distances himself from her. He cannot stand to see her cry or hurt her more than he already has. Then Mayu meets another man who has feelings for her, and Takuma meets a woman who has the same illness, and their feelings for each other begin to waver.
